Kanye West: völlig Versessen auf Grammy für Bestes Album

Los Angeles - Rap-Star Kanye West will unbedingt den Grammy in der Kategorie "Bestes Album des Jahres" für seine Cd "Late Registration" gewinnen.
Wie der Online-Dienst "ContactMusic.com" berichtet, hat diesen Preis seiner Meinung nach nämlich niemand mehr verdient als er. Kanye wörtlich: "Sollte ich nicht für das 'Album des Jahres' ausgezeichnet werden, werde ich wirklich ein Problem damit haben. Es ist mir egal, was ich tue, es ist mir egal, wie ich trickse - ihr könnt die Arbeit, die ich hineingesteckt habe, nicht übergehen."
Kanye West ist übrigens für neun Grammys nominiert, darunter auch in der Königsdisziplin "Album des Jahres" für "Late Registration". Allerdings sind seine Mit-Nominierten in diesem Bereich nicht ohne. Es handelt sich um Gwen Stefani, U2, Paul McCartney und Mariah Carey. (Fan-Lexikon berichtete)
