Brit Awards - die Nominierten: Franz Ferdinand Fünf Mal nominiert

Edinburgh - Die Rocker der Band Franz Ferdinand sind für die anstehenden Brit Awards am 09. Februar fünf Mal nominiert.
Noch vor knapp einem Jahr waren die Jungs von Franz Ferdinand mit seinen Mitgliedern Alex Kapranos, Nicolas McCarthy, Bob Hardy und Paul Thomson recht unbekannt. Jetzt haben sie in den Kategorien Beste Gruppe, Bester britischer Rock-Act, Bester britischer Live-Act, Bestes britisches Album für Franz Ferdinand und Bester britischer Newcomer-Act Chancen auf einen Musik-Preis.
"Franz Ferdinands" Song "Take Me Out" wurde bei den letzten Mtv Video Music Awards im August 2004 in der Kategorie "bestes Breakthrough Video" mit einem Preis ausgezeichnet (Fan-Lexikon berichtete).
Die Band Franz Ferdinand brachte am 16. Februar 2004 ihr gleichnamiges Album bei uns auf den Markt - mit großem Erfolg. Sie arbeiten gerade an ihrem zweiten Werk (Fan-Lexikon berichtete).
Übrigens: Die Verantwortlichen des Brit Awards wollen über 700-tausend Euro der Hilfs-Organisation "Save The Children" spenden, um den Kindern zu helfen, die der Flutkatastrophe zum Opfer gefallen sind.
