Los Angeles - George Clooney und Johnny Depp dürfen sich Hoffnungen auf einen Oscar-Gewinn machen.
Die beiden Schauspieler sind in diesem Jahr für einen Academy Award als "Bester Hauptdarsteller" nominiert. Bei der Verleihung am 24. Februar könnten außerdem Casey Affleck, Cate Blanchett und Tilda Swinton mit einem der begehrten Filmpreis nachhause gehen. Großer Favorit der Oscars ist in diesem Jahr übrigens die Romanverfilmung "Abbitte", die gleich sieben Nominierungen, darunter die als "Bester Film", bekam.
