Los Angeles - Die Black Eyed Peas und die Kings Of Leon sind die Überflieger des Jahres - zumindest in Sachen iTunes.
Unangefochten führen die beiden Bands die Jahres-Charts des Download-Portals an. Die Black Eyed Peas schafften dies im Bereich Singles mit ihrem Hit "Boom Boom Pow". Die Kings Of Leon finden sich mit "Only By The Night" bei den Album-Charts ganz vorne. Zudem wählten die Macher von iTunes ihre Favoriten des Jahres 2009. So wurde Michael Jackson zum "Künstler des Jahres", "Only By The Night" zum "Album des Jahres" und Lady GaGa zum "Newcomer des Jahres" ernannt.
