Biografie
Die Band Antony And The Johnsons wurde 1998 in New York City (New York, USA) durch Anony Hegarty gegründet. Im selben Jahr erschien das selbstbetitelte Debütalbum der Gruppe.
Das zweite Album der Band unter dem Titel "I Am A Bird Now" erhielt im Jahre 2005 den Mercury Music Prize in Großbritannien. Auf dem Album von Antony And The Johnsons wirkten unter anderem Rufus Wainwright und Boy George mit.
