New York - Gestern (05.06.) wurden zum 59. Mal die alljährlichen Tony Awards in New York verliehen.
Der große Gewinner des Abends war mit sechs Trophäen das Broadway-Musical "The Light In The Piazza". Den zweiten Platz belegte das Theaterstück "Play" mit vier Preisen, gefolgt von Monty Python's "Spamalot" mit drei Awards.
